Is the TV Lift Mechanism included in your pricing?

Yes. All of our cabinets come with the TV lift pre-installed.

I would like to install my component box (DVD player, Cable Box, etc) inside the cabinet. Will I have to operate those components with the cabinet doors open?

If you purchased a cabinet that has glass doors, you can operate your components right with the doors closed. However, if you purchased a cabinet with wood doors, an optional infrared repeater assembly is available for purchase so that you can control your components with the cabinet doors closed. You can purchase the infrared repeater here.

I am looking at purchasing one of the bedroom unit that go at the foot of the bed. Where do the wires come out cabinet?

There is an opening in the bottom of the bedroom units that faces toward the bed. The cables come out that opening and can be run underneath the bed. Some of our newer models have space inside the cabinet to hold a DVD or Cable Box vertically. Ask your TheaterLift contact for details.

Will my cabinet look exactly like the picture on the website?

TheaterLift makes every effort to provide high quality, high resolution images to assist you in selecting your cabinet. However, images may appear to vary in color due to your monitor color settings.

Are the measurements of each cabinet on your website correct?

Sometimes measurements are rounded up to the nearest inch, and occasionally they will vary slightly from the description. If precise dimensions are critical to your order we suggest contacting us by phone or e-mail in order to further assist you. Please note: All Returns will be subject to our return policies & fees.

Do you offer a warranty?

There is a 1 year warranty on the electronics through Touchstone Home Products. Cabinets are covered by initial inspection upon delivery.

Do you offer any finishes other than those shown on the website?

The finishes we show on our website are the only finishes we offer at this time. However, we do offer cabinets that are unfinished, allowing the customer the opportunity to stain and finish the cabinet themselves. For more information, please contact us .

Ok, I am ready to order! How long will it take me to receive my order?

Shipping and receiving times will vary depending on the product availability and on current warehouse inventory. For items currently in stock, shipping will take place 1-2 business days after order is placed. Once order ships from our Exton, Pa warehouse, our delivery company will call you to arrange a delvery date.

Will my TheaterLift TV Lift cabinet require assembly?

Outside of accessory shelf placement at the height you desire, all of our cabinets are shipped fully assembled. All you will need to do is mount your TV to the lift mechanism. Instructions and installation videos are available on our “Do It Yourself” webpage.

How do I get this cabinet into the house?

All orders placed on Theaterlift.com come with White Glove delivery included. Our deliver company will bring the cabinet into your home, unpack the cabinet from its specially designed crate, and place it in the location of your choice.

What is the delivery company responsible for?

The delivery company is responsible for bringing the cabinet into the home, unpacking the cabinet, removal of all boxes and foams, and placing the cabinet in the location of your choosing.

Will they install my television and components in the cabinet?

Only if you purchase the Install Package .

Will the delivery company take apart my old entertainment system?

No, the delvery company will not take apart or remove your old entertainment system. We request that when our delivery company schedules a date for the installation, that you prepare the place where the cabinet will be placed by removing your old entertainment system prior to arrival of the new TheaterLift cabinet.

Can any type of flat panel tv be mounted in you cabinet, or just plasma tv's?

All flat panel tv's, plasma or LCD, can be mounted to the lift mechanism.

How long does it take to mount my TV in the cabinet ?

Installation times may vary depending on expertise, but the average customer can have their TV installed and operational in under 30 minutes.

What mounting hardware are included with the cabinet?

TheaterLift provides all the mounting hardware necessary to mount your TV to the lift mechanism. All cabinets include mounting screws to ensure that your TV is properly mounted to the TV lift mechanism. Unfortunately, there are 20,000 different models of flat panel TVs on the market today and no standard in the size of the mounting hole for each TV. While we include the most popular sizes of TV mounting screws in our kit, there are some TVs that require an odd size screw. TheaterLift works to maintain a list of the most popular flat panel TVs on the market and the size mounting screws they require. Should any of the mounting screws included in our hardware pack not fit your TV, please contact TheaterLift customer service at 866-703-8270.

What tools will I need to mount my TV to the lift mechanism?

A Phillips screwdriver, a ratchet or adjustable wrench, and a little bit of “elbow-grease” is all you need.

Can I install the TV to the lift by myself?

While most of the TV installation process can be performed by one person, it is suggested that you have another person there for assistance in mounting the TV bracket to the lift mechanism.

I purchased the infrared repeater system for use with our cabinet. Will I need to reprogram my remote controls to work with the infrared system?

No. Our infrared system uses infrared flashers that attached to the sensor on your component so that you existing remotes will work without reprogramming.

What should I do if my lift mechanism needs repair?
